Leon Leskovec is a participant in the 2025 European Leadership Accelerator hosted by the Atlantic Council’s Millennium Leadership Program. He is a public affairs professional and political advisor currently working as the head of cabinet of Member of the European Parliament Karlo Ressler. His current focus is on budgetary policies and home affairs, which includes building parliamentary positions on files based on wide political compromises in order to finalize interinstitutional negotiations. Previously he worked as a policy advisor with the UK delegation in the European Conservatives and Reformists (ECR) Group in the European Parliament as well as the project manager in the ECR Party. Leskovec serves as a board member at the Academy for Political Development, a multipartisan organization focused on fostering political dialogue among young leaders. He has a strong interest in the EU accession path of Western Balkan countries. As a member of the Transatlantic Policy Network and an alumnus of the American Council for Young Political Leaders. He also has a strong interest in transatlantic relations. Leskovec has a bachelor and master’s degree in political science from the University of Zagreb.
