On Tuesday, September 9, at 8:30 a.m. ET, the Atlantic Council’s Cyber Statecraft Initiative and the University of Cape Town Cybersecurity Capacity Center for Southern Africa will host a conversation examining the ways in which education and capacity-building efforts in Sub-Saharan Africa support cybersecurity initiatives and create opportunities for the workforce.
At this event, professionals in the capacity-building space will reflect on the state of cyber resilience and policy efforts in Africa and how capacity-building efforts can supplement them. In addition, past competitors from the Cape Town Cyber 9/12 Strategy Challenge will speak about their experiences with the competition and how it impacted their careers in cybersecurity and policy.
