On Monday, November 17 at 1:30 p.m. ET, the Atlantic Council’s Eurasia Center, Europe Center, and Transatlantic Security Initiative will host a conversation with Margus Tsahkna, minister of foreign affairs of the Republic of Estonia, to share Tallinn’s perspective on allied support for Ukraine and raising the costs of Russian aggression.
Estonia has been a vital supporter of Ukraine—providing assistance worth more than 1.4 percent of Estonia’s gross domestic product—and contributor to collective allied defense, especially since Russia’s full-scale 2022 invasion.
This conversation will be moderated by Vivian Salama, staff writer for the Atlantic. Tsahkna will provide an essential eastern-flank perspective on the threat of Russian aggression to Europe and the NATO alliance. He will also share experiences countering Russian hybrid attacks against Estonia.
New policy: In-person attendees will be required to show photo ID upon arrival, and no on-site registration will be permitted. Guests will not be admitted later than twenty minutes after the event’s start time. Registration for this event will close at 5:00 p.m. ET the day prior.
