Olga Usenko is a visiting fellow with the Atlantic Council’s Eurasia Center. Her research focuses on Ukraine’s reconstruction, investment attraction, strategic communications, and the role of legal and business institutions in supporting economic recovery. She examines how partnerships among government, business, civil society, and international stakeholders can strengthen Ukraine’s resilience and integration into global markets.

Usenko has nearly twenty years of experience in economic research, legal market intelligence, strategic communications, and business development. She previously was a Hubert H. Humphrey fellow at Arizona State University and a fellow at the McCain Institute. Earlier, she contributed to the economic impact assessment of the prospective EU–Ukraine Free Trade Agreement at the International Centre for Policy Studies and spent two decades leading research and editorial programs at Legal Practice Publishing.

She holds a PhD, MA, and BA from Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman, and completed a postgraduate program at the UK-based Sympodium Institute for Strategic Communications.
