Morgan Tadych is a nonresident senior fellow with the Scowcroft Middle East Security Initiative at the Atlantic Council’s Middle East programs. She is also the chief of staff at Vehementia, LLC, a defense consultancy supporting US defense and intelligence operations globally. She is an open-source intelligence (OSINT) professional who has conducted projects investigating radicalization to violence, domestic extremism, and global religious terrorism.
Tadych is a former US Army intelligence officer who served across Europe and the Middle East. Throughout her career, she held strategic intelligence and special operations assignments with portfolios focused on Central Asia and Middle Eastern terrorism. She served as a senior intelligence analyst supporting counterterrorism operations and worked within the Department of Defense to establish and train a battle-tracking team. After leaving the Army, Tadych supported several startups and nonprofits in their expansion into the OSINT space, sharing her subject-matter expertise as a trainer and leader.
Tadych holds a bachelor of arts from American University, where she is also pursuing a master of international service degree. Her research focuses on the connections between international development and counterinsurgency operations.
