From the Prague Daily Monitor:  The Czech military intelligence service (VZ) registered China’s attempts at technological espionage in the Czech Republic’s defence industry in 2009, the VZ says in its annual report released on its website.

Technological espionage can not only harm Czech security interests but also endanger the security of NATO. In addition, it threatens to harm the economic interests of the Czech defence industry, the report says.

The VZ pointed to China’s interest in advanced technologies designed for military purposes in its annual report for 2008 already.  (photo: Xinhua)
