Estonia’s Minister of Defense Urmas Reinsalu and Georgia’s Minister of Defense Dimitri Shashkini

From Ministry of Defense of Estonia:  [I]n Tbilisi, Estonia’s Minister of Defence Urmas Reinsalu and Georgia’s Minister of Defence Dimitri Shashkini concluded a defence cooperation treaty between the two countries.

According to Minister of Defence Reinsalu, the key position in the treaty is Estonia’s support for Georgia’s aspiration in the direction of NATO. “Georgia is facing a road lined with serious work in order to build a state based on the rule of law and on the principles characteristic of Western democracy,” said Reinsalu.

Furthermore, Estonia’s Minister of Defence commended Georgia’s work and reforms to date as well as its contribution in Afghanistan. Georgia’s Minister of Defence Shashkini thanked Estonia for its support and excellent cooperation. (photo: Ministry of Defense of Georgia)  (via Defpro)
