From the AP: NATO and Russia say they will boost efforts to develop a joint system to protect their troops from attack by short-range missiles.
NATO spokesman James Appathurai said Wednesday that the former Cold War rivals have agreed to strengthen cooperation on linking their systems – once NATO nations approve the alliance developing its own tactical anti-missile capability. They are expected to do so at a summit in November.
