Ukraine takes up duty in NATO Response Force

From Interfax-Ukraine:  Ukraine has for the first time taken up duty in the NATO Response Force (NRF) of the 15th rotation.

NATO’s Supreme Allied Commander for Europe Admiral James Stavridis reported this in a note of thanks addressed to the Ukrainian side, Interfax-Ukraine learned in the Mission of Ukraine to NATO in Brussels on Tuesday.

In particular, the letter notes that Ukraine is the first partner country, which has contributed its forces and means to the NATO Response Force. According to Stavridis, the successful cooperation between NATO and Ukraine aimed at the preparation of radiological, chemical and biological defense forces (NBC) and performing tasks as part of multinational NBC defense troops.  (photo: NATO)
