From NATO:  Over the past 24 hours, NATO has conducted the following activities associated with Operation UNIFIED PROTECTOR :

Air Operations
Since the beginning of the NATO operation (31 March 2011, 08.00GMT) a total of 13,585 sorties, including 5,099 strike sorties*, have been conducted.

*Strike sorties are intended to identify and engage appropriate targets, but do not necessarily deploy munitions each time.

Key Hits
02 JULY: In the vicinity of Tripoli: 2 Radars, 3 Military Vehicles. In the vicinity of Okba: 1 Armed Vehicle, 2 Anti-Aircraft Guns, 1 Self Propelled Artillery Piece. In the vicinity of Gharyan: 1 Tank. In the vicinity of Zlitan: 3 Armoured Vehicles. In the vicinity of Misurata: 3 Armed Vehicles. In the vicinity of Waddan: 1 Military Storage Facility, 1 Military Truck. In the vicinity of Sirte: 1 Military Vehicle.

Arms Embargo Activities
A total of 17 ships under NATO command are actively patrolling the Central Mediterranean.
14 Vessels were hailed on 02 JULY to determine destination and cargo. 5 boardings (1 denial) were conducted.
A total of 1607 vessels have been hailed, 142 boardings and 9 denials have been conducted since the beginning of arms embargo operations.
