On October 12, the Atlantic Council’s Global Business & Economics Program hosted a private roundtable discussion with H.E. Ilan Goldfajn, President of the Brazilian Central Bank.
The discussion centered on the current issues facing Brazil. Ahead of the Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, Dr. Goldfajn discussed recent developments in the Brazilian economy, with a focus on inflation expectatives, the return to growth after a severe depression, the political landscape and needed reforms for the economy.
