On September 15, the Atlantic Council’s EuroGrowth Initiative hosted a private roundtable discussion with H.E. Nikos Pappas, Greek Minister of Digital Policy, Telecommunications and Media and Chief Strategist to Prime Minsiter Alexis Tsipras.

The discussion centered on the current issues facing Greece and the European Union (EU). Ahead of the Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, and a visit to the White House by Prime Minister Alexi Tsipras, Mr. Pappas discussed recent developments in the Greek economy, with a focus on bonds sales, the return to growth in the first semester of the year, and Greece’s upgrade by the rating agencies.
