The Fukushima disaster has had a dramatic impact in Japan and on the prospects for nuclear power worldwide. Germany and Switzerland have joined those opting to forswear nuclear, and Japan may eventually follow. But other countries seem undeterred given their economic, energy independence, environmental/climate change and other priorities.
