Nearly a month after the United Kingdom's popular vote to leave the European Union and under the new leadership of Prime Minister Theresa May, questions abound regarding the future of Europe's second largest economy. As market volatility and an unclear path to exit the EU surround the fledgling conservative cabinet, new developments including the increased calls for a second Scottish referendum on independence as early as next year place the future of the UK's relationship with Europe in even greater uncertainty.
Please join the Atlantic Council Members Program on Tuesday, June 26 , for an exclusive, off the record members' and diplomatic briefing on the steps ahead for the United Kingdom and the future of 'Brexit' with Atlantic Council Executive Vice President for European Union and Special Initiatives Frances Burwell. A post-event networking reception will follow at the conclusion of the briefing.
Kindly RSVP online, or contact Kayvan Chinichian at kchinichian@atlanticcouncil.org or at 202-778-4961 if you would like to participate remotely.
