Please join us on Monday, June 11, from 12:00-1:00 p.m., for a discussion with Vincent DeVito, Counselor to the Secretary for Energy Policy at the US Department of the Interior. Mr. DeVito will focus on the advanced energy aspects of the Trump administration’s “energy dominance” agenda.

Since its unveiling, the administration’s “energy dominance” agenda has been extensively covered in public news reports. However, the advanced energy aspects of the agenda, including microgrid, solar, wind, smart grid technology, and advanced nuclear issues, have received comparatively less attention. Mr. DeVito is very involved with these issues and is playing a key role in operationalizing the administration’s intention to learn best practices, work with both industry and stakeholders to improve the renewable energy development process, and develop offshore wind projects. The conversation will focus on the role that advanced energy might play in “energy dominance,” and what the Interior Department is doing to advance this.
