As Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs Linda Thomas-Greenfield prepares to step down from her three and a half years in this position, she will reflect on Africa’s role in a changing world. She will also discuss the challenges and opportunities facing the continent in the future, and the role the U.S. government plays in turning some of the challenges into opportunities.
