The Atlantic Council Global Energy Center looks forward to your participation in the fall edition of the Atlantic Council’s natural gas roundtable on the role of natural gas in reaching net-zero and how carbon border adjustments may impact liquefied natural gas (LNG) trade. The meeting will take place via Zoom, on Thursday, October 15, 2020, from 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. EDT / Thursday, October 15, 2020 from 9:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. JST.

The October meeting will convene key stakeholders from the public and private sectors and feature discussions with and presentations from industry experts. The first featured panel will focus on the evolving role of natural gas in reaching global net-zero carbon emissions. The second will discuss the potential for carbon border adjustments in various regions and what the measures would mean for global LNG trade going forward.
