The N7 Initiative, a partnership of the Atlantic Council and the Jeffrey M. Talpins Foundation, is pleased to invite you to a virtual discussion on the impact of educational tools for the advancement of regional coexistence in the Middle East featuring featuring Marcus Sheff, Chief Executive Officer of the Institute for Monitoring Peace and Cultural Tolerance in School Education (IMPACT-se), in conversation with former Ambassador and N7 Initiative Director Daniel B. Shapiro.
The event will highlight a multi-year study of Morocco’s national school curriculum published by IMPACT-se in February 2023 and look at broader regional trends on education reform and coexistence promotion, focusing specifically on the furtherance of peace, universal human rights and conflict resolution as fundamental touchstones in regional school curricula.
This virtual event will take place on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. ET/4:00 p.m. IDT. A Zoom link will be sent to those who register.
This event is part of the Atlantic Council’s N7 Initiative dedicated to advancing normalization, peace, and stability in the region in the wake of the Abraham Accords.
