General Hans-Lothar Domröse is coming to the Atlantic Council to discuss the challenging security environment NATO faces in Europe, the Resolute Support Mission and NATO's operational-level planning following the Wales Summit. NATO Allied Joint Force Command Brunssum is one of two standing Allied Joint Headquarters and is located in Brunssum, Netherlands. The Headquarters is the higher-headquarters for the Resolute Support Mission in Afghanistan, the 2016 NATO Response Force, actions taken to assure NATO allies in Northeast Europe against the backdrop of the Ukraine crisis, and Exercise Trident Juncture this fall, which will be the largest NATO exercise in recent history.
