The Russian invasion of Ukraine and the subsequent establishment of the European Energy Union raise serious political, legal, and economic questions as Europe attempts to advance its objectives of increasing competition and ensuring a secure energy supply. Understanding the implications of the new European Energy Union and the energy regulatory framework is a precondition for understanding the future role of all energy supplies in Europe as well as Europe’s internal and external strategic relationships.

Please join us on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm for a conference on the global ramifications of the European Energy Union. Two panels of European energy experts, including one of the chief architects of EU energy and competition law, will address the intricacies of EU law and assess the legal, political, and geopolitical implications of the European Energy Union.

Tuesday, April 21: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
