Join the Atlantic Council from October 9–October 13 live in Marrakesh, Morocco for a series of special events with central bank governors and finance and development ministers from around the world during the 2023 Annual Meetings of the World Bank and International Monetary Fund (IMF).
These in-depth interviews will take you inside the meetings and bring together central bank governors and finance and development ministers from around the world to discuss the outlook for 2023 and beyond. This series is part of the Atlantic Council GeoEconomics Center’s Bretton Woods 2.0 Project, which produces new ideas on reform of the Bretton Woods institutions. The Atlantic Council will launch major publications at the Annual Meetings in Morocco on topics ranging from how geopolitics is reshaping the role of the IMF and World Bank to representation of the Global South in the Bretton Woods institutions.
The IMF-World Bank Meetings in Morocco are the first Annual Meetings held on the African continent in fifty years. The Atlantic Council will bring together its centers and programs across a broad range of regions and topic areas to deliver cutting-edge analysis, highlight the urgent need for reform, and bring a new audience inside the meetings with our special events.
