Please join the Atlantic Council for an exclusive “Iowa Caucus warm-up” discussion with Edelman President and CEO Richard Edelman, one of the world’s leading actors and thinkers on public perceptions and global communication, and The Hon. Mark Warner, US Senator from Virginia. Mr. Edelman will outline the findings of the Edelman “Trust Barometer 2016,” the latest installment of an annual survey that this year reported a record gap in trust between global elites and the broader population toward our major institutions – including government, business and media. The gap – which is the largest in the United States, the United Kingdom, France, and India – signals new challenges for leaders who must now add “trust inequality” to income inequality as a matter of significant concern.Mr. Edelman and Senator Warner will then engage in a moderated discussion on the report’s key findings and their implications on government institutions.
