Cengiz Çandar is a senior columnist of Radikal, a Turkish language daily newspaper based in Istanbul. He also serves as a columnist for Al-Monitor's Turkey Pulse. Dr. Fuad M. Hussein is the chief of staff of President Massoud Barzani of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq since 2005. Barry Pavel is vice president and director of the Brent Scowcroft Center on International Security at the Atlantic Council, focusing on emerging security challenges, defense strategies and capabilities, and key European and global defense issues.
