On Thursday, November 20, at 9:00 a.m. CET/3:00 a.m. ET, the Atlantic Council’s Global Energy Center will host a panel in Berlin to discuss the European Union’s evolving sustainability policies and their impact on competitiveness.

This livestreamed conversation will examine how complex regulations—such as the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) and Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD)—affect trade and business costs amid the ongoing sustainability omnibus review.

Senior leaders and policymakers will share views on Europe’s competitiveness and expectations for the sustainability framework.
