On Wednesday, April 30 at 10:00 a.m. CET/4:00 a.m. ET, the Atlantic Council will host an #ACFrontPage conversation with Microsoft Vice Chair and President Brad Smith on maintaining trust and promoting competitiveness in a time of trade and geopolitical volatility.

The world of technology is rapidly changing, with industry now central to how countries are developing their economic policies in an increasingly digital world. Governments are taking more intense interest in sectors such as artificial intelligence, tech-enabled competitiveness, and semiconductors.

Within that context, the European Union is forging ahead with a dual mandate to jumpstart the bloc’s economy and maintain its global leadership position on digital regulation. The bloc is also facing headwinds with the United States, its closest ally. Europe must sustain its digital resilience and sovereignty as Brussels, European capitals, and Washington address growing tensions that impact the future of transatlantic security and the Western alliance.

This edition of #ACFrontPage, made possible with support from Microsoft, will take place in person at TownHall Europe in Brussels. The event will also be livestreamed on Atlantic Council TV, YouTube, Facebook, and X. To receive event information, please register by completing the registration form. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email with information on how to attend the event.

Please note this invitation is nontransferable.
