Russia’s actions in East Ukraine has revived discussions on the security liabilities for the Caucasus region and countries such as Azerbaijan. The Atlantic Council is an active participant in the important dialogue aimed to connect the Caucasus and Central Asia with the transatlantic community and determine the geopolitical and security implications.
This public strategy session will bring together a prominent line-up of experts and policymakers with interest in Azerbaijan and the Caucasus to jump-start a discussion on the potential alternatives that may bring Azerbaijan closer to the transatlantic community. Following opening remarks, Dinu Patriciu Eurasia Center Deputy Director David Koranyi will moderate the ensuing discussion with a panel of representatives from the United States government, the Azerbaijan mission to NATO, and the think tank community.
