The Atlantic Council—in partnership with the Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy (ARPA-E) —is pleased to invite you to attend a private workshop on advanced nuclear energy and the nuclear fuel cycle on Thursday, February 6, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Convene (The Studio Room, 530 Fifth Avenue, New York, NY 10036)

This private event will engage participants in a conversation about the challenges and opportunities of the nuclear innovation ecosystem, including the nuclear fuel cycle and the fuel supply chain. We will also discuss the potential role of nuclear fuel recycling within a broader US spent fuel management strategy.  The workshop will also serve as a forum to engage in dialogue with experts from ARPA-E about the trajectory of nuclear energy deployment, the purview of ARPA-E programs, and the development of innovative reprocessing and recycling technologies.

A working lunch will be provided at 12:00 p.m., to be followed by further moderated discussion involving all participants until 1:30 p.m.

The moderated discussion will take place following the Chatham House Rule.

If you have any questions about this event, please don’t hesitate to contact Amy Drake at adrake@atlanticcouncil.org.
