Please join the Atlantic Council's South Asia Center and  the Dinu Patriciu Eurasia Center and the US Department of State’s South and Central Asian Affairs Bureau for a special off-the-record briefing for Senators, staffers, and the think tank community.

US Ambassadors to six South Asian and five Central Asian nations will engage in a panel discussion and Q&A on regional and international issues, as well as on relations with the United States. While security issues have historically dominated conversations in Washington on South and Central Asia , the coming transitions are spurring a new regional dialogue on a broad variety of topics, including trade, economic development, energy management, infrastructure, and governance. The ambassadors will share their insight on regional priorities and opportunities, particularly in the wake of post-2014 Afghanistan.

Please note: This event will be held at the Capitol Visitors Center, Room SVC 212-210, at the Intersection of First Street and East Capitol Hill Street.

This event is off-the-record and closed to press.
