On Friday, April 4 from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. ET, the Adrienne Arsht Latin America Center, in collaboration with the GeoEconomics Center, hosted a conversation on what comes next for Latin America after the announcement of the United States’ new reciprocal tariffs.

Former regional officials discussed what the tariffs mean for select countries in the Western Hemisphere and how the region can adapt to a changing global trade environment by minimizing risks and seizing opportunities to engage with the United States.

Be sure to check out our newly launched Americas economies in-depth series, which analyzes pressing economic issues facing the region.
