The international community was deeply engaged in Yemen's National Dialogue process, but now two months after its conclusion, there are concerns about the prospects for implementing the most important elements of the agreed-upon outcomes. I hope you can join us for a roundtable discussion on Tuesday, April 8 from 2:00-3:30 p.m. with World Bank Country Manager for Yemen Wael Zakout and US State Department Office Director for the Arabian Peninsula Don Blome, who has just returned from a month in Yemen.
The discussion will reflect on important issues pertaining to the next phase of Yemen's transition. Namely: how will the new federal system be put in place and will it exacerbate or mitigate current economic and security crises? How are the Dialogue outcomes being implemented?
