Anil Maguru is a participant in the 2023 Climate Leadership Program of the Atlantic Council’s Millennium Leadership Program and a French and Rwandan entrepreneur and investor. His origins are related to four different African countries (Rwanda, Congo, Tanzania, and Burundi), and he holds an MSc in corporate finance from the EDHEC Business School. He serves as a founding partner of Satgana, a global climate-tech venture-capital fund, bringing decades of venture-building experience to support mission-driven founders in launching and scaling sustainable climate solutions. He backs startups in Europe and Africa in areas such as agriculture, energy, mobility, buildings/industry, carbon removal, and circular economy. Prior to joining Satgana, he worked as an investor at Bold Rock Management, with a focus on impact venture capital.
