Anna Van Hollen is a 2022 Atlantic Council Millennium fellow and the director of policy planning at Meta, where she leads the global policy team’s central agenda setting, coordination, and long-term planning function. She previously worked at Meta as a chief of staff, policy manager, and speechwriter. Prior to Meta, Van Hollen worked as a freelance journalist in the Middle East as a fellow with the Pulitzer Center for International Crisis Reporting. She holds a JD from Georgetown University Law Center, a master’s degree in international relations from the London School of Economics, and a bachelor’s degree in history from Davidson College, where she was a Belk and Smith scholar.
