Eden Litt, PhD, is a Millennium fellow at the Atlantic Council and the director of research at Facebook. Utilizing qualitative and quantitative methods, her work explores the impact that social media has on some of today’s biggest societal challenges. The goal of her research and strategy work is to learn how to harness the power of social media while reducing its risks. Her empirically driven strategic advice has been used to help make key decisions on technologies that billions of people use globally. Her research has been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented to government officials, policymakers, academic researchers, the press, and non-profits around the world.
