Kiera O’Brien is a public policy representative for TotalEnergies. Her work focuses on renewables in the United States, primarily offshore wind and solar.
Kiera is a 2020 graduate of Harvard College, where she studied government with a focus on technology science. Prior to joining TotalEnergies, she worked on energy policy in the US Senate and spent over three years in the nonprofit space. During those years, Kiera launched two nonprofit organizations educating on and advocating for a revenue-neutral price on carbon and testified before a US Senate committee addressing climate solutions. She is an alum of the Yale Program on Climate Change Communication Public Voices Fellowship and is a member of the Aspen Institute’s K12 Climate Action policy commission.
