Media Women

Lauren Bohn is The GroundTruth Project’s editor-at-large and Middle East correspondent, based in Istanbul, Turkey. Previously, Ms. Bohn was one of the first women columnists for Foreign Policy magazine and a Fulbright fellow in Egypt. Ms. Bohn is the co-founder of Foreign Policy Interrupted, a start-up incubator and fellowship program dedicated to changing the workplace gender ratio and involving more women in foreign policy. Ms. Bohn is also the co-founder of SchoolCycle, a United Nations Foundation initiative to provide bikes to girls in Malawi, allowing them to get to school more quickly, safely, and regularly. Ms. Bohn received her Master’s in journalism from Northwestern University and a degree from New York University’s Steinhardt School of Culture and Human Development.
