Mario De Pizzo is a nonresident senior fellow at the Atlantic Council’s Europe Center. He is currently a journalist at TG1, Italy’s flagship television newscast program produced by RAI, Italy’s national public broadcasting company. He is the anchor for the special editions of the program focused on politics.

De Pizzo is a distinguished Italian journalist renowned for his coverage of Italian politics. He has been a special correspondent for the prime minister and government, and has also taken part in international forums. De Pizzo is the author of the book “L’America per noi” (Luiss University Press), which discusses the relationship between Italy and the United States from 1985 to 2021.

De Pizzo studied journalism at the Radio and Television Journalism School of Perugia, founded by RAI. De Pizzo currently resides in Rome.
