Nicholas Yap is the director of strategy and operations at the Digital Forensic Research Lab (DFRLab), part of the Atlantic Council Technology Programs.
Based in London, he runs DFRLab’s global operations and development activities. As a founding member, Yap has managed the rapid growth of the DFRLab from a team of two in 2016 to its current presence of fifty staff across seventeen countries. In this role, he has focused on building programming and partnerships to advance digital resilience and global counter-disinformation efforts.
He is a graduate of Colgate University with a BA in international relations and a minor in German.
