Reem Goussous is a nonresident senior fellow with the Atlantic Council’s Rafik Hariri Center and Middle East programs. Goussous is the co-founder of Viaka, a global network supporting high-performing founders, investors, and professionals with ties to the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region by unlocking capital and enabling cross-border growth. She is also a member of the Investment Committee at Oasis500 and serves as a board member of the Middle East Investment Initiative.
Goussous was previously the chief growth officer at Village Capital, and the managing director of Endeavor Jordan. With over thirty years of experience working in the MENA region, Goussous has managed multi-million and multi-year development programs. She has worked in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors, with expertise in the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises, entrepreneurship development, investment readiness, export development, and access to finance. She has also worked extensively on economic impact, sector growth strategies, management consulting, market research, and economic development programs and policies.
Goussous holds an MA in economics with a dual concentration in economic development and international trade from Boston University.
