Roee Snir is the deputy director of the N7 Initiative. Prior to assuming his current role, Snir served the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the United States for eight years, most recently at the Israeli embassy in Washington, DC, as the chief of staff to Israeli Ambassador to the United States Michael Herzog. Prior to that, Snir served as senior advisor to former Ambassador Ron Dermer and Ambassador Gilad Erdan. Additionally, Snir worked at the Permanent Mission of Israel to the United Nations in New York dealing with social and economic issues, and he served as the political director of the Consulate General of Israel to the Southeast United States in Atlanta.

Snir is a veteran Israel Defense Forces (IDF) officer and finished at the top of his class in the IDF Officers School. He earned a degree in political science and East Asian studies from Tel Aviv University. During his time there, Snir founded the Israeli Model UN Association, the umbrella organization for all Model UN groups across Israel. Later, Snir took on the role of vice president within the association.
