Steven Witt is the CEO and co-founder of Anno.Ai, a venture-backed software company focused on operationalizing artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities for missions across the public and private sectors. Previously, Steven was a founder and CEO of Onyara, a dataflow software company. Leveraging lean startup principles, Steven built and sold Onyara in 2015 for $42 million after six months in business on a $1.1 million capital raise. Earlier in his career, Steven worked as a management consultant in the tech and energy industries at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG). Steven is also a former Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) officer with a focus on real-time intelligence production and analysis at scale. Prior to joining the CIA, Steven was awarded multiple honors as a member of the US Foreign Service. His public service career included assignments in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. Steven concurrently earned an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and an MPA from the Harvard Kennedy School. He also has a BA in Computer Science from Macalester College. Steven and his wife Alex live in the Washington DC metro region. Their angel investment portfolio is primarily focused on military veterans and US Intelligence Community alumni entrepreneurs. They have two children.
