Willow Fortunoff was an assistant director at the Atlantic Council’s Adrienne Arsht Latin America Center, where she led the implementation of the Summit of the Americas project in partnership with the US Department of State. She also supported the Caribbean Initiative and the center’s climate work. Fortunoff is a 2020 Truman Scholar from Vermont. Prior to joining the Atlantic Council, she worked on the congressional affairs team at the German Marshall Fund where she contributed to programming on emerging issues within the transatlantic relationship. Willow has also worked on several political campaigns in Vermont and Minnesota. She has a bachelor’s in political science and international studies from Macalester College.
