Yasmine Abdillahi is a nonresident fellow with the Atlantic Council’s Africa Center. She is a cybersecurity leader currently serving as executive director of security risk and compliance at Comcast. She also serves as the business information security officer for the business services connectivity segment.

Prior to joining Comcast NBCUniversal in 2015, Abdillahi honed her skills during an eight-year tenure at KPMG, working in both Paris and San Francisco. Her international experience allowed her to develop a unique cross-cultural understanding of digital challenges in an increasingly interconnected world.

With over a decade of experience in the technology and security sectors, Abdillahi brings a wealth of knowledge and a global perspective to her work spanning across cybersecurity strategy and governance, risk management and compliance, and business transformation.

Abdillahi is a mentor, serves on a nonprofit board, runs 5Ks, and writes television scripts in her free time.
