On September 8, 2021, Pepe Zhang co-authored an article in Americas Quarterly with Felipe Larraín, Adrienne Arsht Latin America Center’s Advisory Council Member, “How Latin America Can Navigate the China-US Trade Wars.”
“Overall, most LAC countries do not desire or need to choose between the US and China when it comes to trade. In that sense, trade wars are also a useful device for understanding LAC’s nuanced behavior and balanced position in the midst of broader China-US tensions,” Zhang and Larraín write.
