The Associated Press quotes China’s Vice Finance Minister Zhu Guangyao’s statements at an Atlantic Council event on his country’s proposed infrastructure bank:

Zhu said China supports and contributes to the IMF and World Bank — which are holding their annual spring meetings in Washington this weekend — and plays a constructive role in the current international financial system.

“We want to improve that and enhance that capacity rather than overthrow the current system,” he told the Atlantic Council think tank.
