Atlantic Council Senior Fellow Chris Brummer chaired a panel on financial stability at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York with John Berrigan, the European Commission’s Deputy Director-General for Financial Stability, Financial Services and Capital Markets Union, Elke Koenig, the Banking Union’s Single Resolution Mechanism head, and Nathan Sheets a former Under Secretary of the Treasury for International Affairs. The conference, The Transatlantic Economy Ten Years after the Crisis: Macro-Financial Scenarios and Policy Responses, was co-sponsored with the European Commission, and held on April 23.
