“We have continuing security interests with Egypt that require cooperation… This is the time to pull back and focus on the very minimal amount of cooperation to do business. There are very powerful forces at work in Egypt driving the situation. So I don’t think we should condone it, excuse it or be involved in any way, so I would argue for a distancing approach.”
