The Salt Lake Tribune covers the appointment of former Utah Governor Jon Huntsman as chairman of the Atlantic Council:
Former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman has been named chairman of the Atlantic Council, a group whose mission includes trade and economic development as well as international security in the transatlantic region.
Huntsman replaces former National Security Adviser Brent Scowcroft, also a Utahn, who had filled in since President Barack Obama tapped Chuck Hagel to serve as secretary of Defense. The new role for Huntsman adds to his growing work on the boards of Caterpillar, Chevron and Ford. He’s also chairman of the Huntsman Cancer Institute.
