US News and World Report quotes Brent Scowcroft Center Nonresident Senior Fellow for Technology and National Security Jamie Metzl on the global impact of China’s falling stock market: 

Things could get worse in Shanghai as “China’s stock market is still very overvalued” and has farther to fall, Jamie Metzl, a senior Fellow at the Atlantic Council told CNBC. China’s government has tried to intervene and keep stock values artificially high rather than letting the shares adapt to the market and grow naturally, so they will have to reverse that course if they want to see any recovery, he said.
