DW News quotes Africa Center Director J. Peter Pham on the potential to establish a US alliance with Nigeria, heightened by Nigerian President Buhari’s visit to the United States next week:
“Nigeria is potentially Washington’s most important African ally,” Peter Pham of the Atlantic Council told DW. “I say potentially,” he added “because that potential has not yet been realized.”
