As global markets increasingly demand low-emissions products, advanced nuclear energy first-mover states have a tremendous opportunity to expand their economic production and help secure United States leadership in the new frontier of global economic competition.

The efforts of the Atlantic Council Nuclear Energy Policy Initiative’s Frontiers Project are dedicated to helping catalyze the industry, academic, and government partnerships that can make this a reality. Since 2022, the Atlantic Council has convened private and public discussions engaging with local and regional actors in Jackson, Wyoming; Anchorage, Alaska; and Park City, Utah.
